Association Media & Publishing, which “serves the needs of association publishers, communications professionals and the media they create”, recently announced its board of directors for the coming year (between now and June 2012).
After changing its bylaws in 2010, the AM&P board now includes two “industry provider” representatives. Those appointed to the board to fill the new positions include Debra Bates-Schrott (one-year term) and me (two-year term).
Members of the board also take on leading roles elsewhere in the association. For the coming year, I will chair the New York-area education committee, which is tasked with developing a “lunch-and-learn” program with content of interest to both associations and publishing professionals.
The education program is always looking for speakers, sponsors and convenient places to meet. If you’d like information about the committee, its work or about AM&P as a whole, send me a note.
