Last month, I wrote about a workshop, "Metadata goes global", that Laura Dawson and I are presenting at this year's Frankfurt Book Fair. The session takes place in Hall 4 on October 11 between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
As we've been working to develop and refine the program, Laura and I have also changed some of its structure. Last week, we updated the session description to focus on three broad topics:
- Getting metadata right
- Making metadata effective
- Preparing for the next wave
This is largely a change in how the program is organized. We'll cover the full range of topics outlined in my earlier post, and we'll also provide time for discussion and dialogue among participants in the workshop.
If you're planning to attend the book fair, registration for this program remains open. If you're on the fence, send us a note and we'll see if we can convince you to join the session. Fair warning: Laura can be pretty persuasive.
