Kirk Biglione of Medialoper has released a podcast of a 30-minute conversation we had earlier this week, after O’Reilly Media published a Rough Cut version of research we have been conducting to establish the impact of piracy and free-content promotions on paid book sales.
O’Reilly Media is also providing free access to a panel discussion of the research that took place at its Tools of Change conference. The other participants include Mac Slocum from O’Reilly and Chelsea Vaughn, who is with Random House. The presentation and Q&A run a little less than an hour.
I’ll continue to post other links as they become available. In addition, I am presenting on this research again at BookExpo America (Thursday, May 28 at 9:30 a.m. in room 1E04).
