Making a Business Case for Context

Last week I was able to join a two-day Klopotek Publishers’ Forum, held for the ninth time in Berlin. The program organizer, Helmut von Berg, created an agenda that migrated from the general to the specific across two languages (German and English), with plenty of opportunity throughout to engage with the 300 participants.

As you’ll see in the write-ups, it is impossible to describe the event and not mention the venue, a conference center in a building designed by Frank Gehry. Throughout the two days, tourists stood outside the building to gain at least a glimpse of the center.
