With Ashley Gordon, I am developing a workshop on best uses of print-on-demand (POD) technology. The session is one we’ll be moderating at O’Reilly Media’s 2010 Tools of Change in Publishing conference, to be held February 22 – 24 in New York.
Ashley is a print-on-demand veteran, having worked at POD pioneer Sprout, Lightning Source and most recently at SharedBook, where she has been putting her experience to great use as the company’s VP – Business Development.
We’re working on a 90-minute session in which we plan to use the front half to introduce and explain POD cases and then move to plugging actual printing and sale data, drawn from participants, into the model Magellan has developed to evaluate the best uses of POD.
